Origins of the Great Twentieth Century Capitalist Cargo Cult:
An Agony in Three Fits
  Despite the significant number of uninformed people who like the sound of ‘Ponzi Scheme’, social security has little in common with Charles Ponzi’s famous venture.  A much better case can be made that the economic philosophy of the United States and much of the rest of the world is a Cargo Cult. This idea will be explored in three sections in an effort to provide bite-sized chunks.
